Mango Day celebration

The Mango Day celebration at Oxbridge World School is a delightful and unique event that pays homage to one of nature’s most beloved fruits – the mango. Held annually during the peak of mango season, this celebration brings together students, teachers, and staff to revel in the flavors, colors, and cultural significance of this tropical fruit.

The Mango Day festivities kick off with a vibrant display of mango-themed decorations adorning the school campus. From mango-shaped banners and garlands to colorful displays of ripe mangoes, the school is transformed into a festive paradise dedicated to celebrating all things mango.

Throughout the day, students participate in a variety of activities and competitions centered around mangoes. These may include mango eating contests, mango carving competitions, and mango-themed art and craft workshops. Students also have the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills by preparing and presenting a variety of mango-based dishes and treats, from mango smoothies and salads to mango desserts and preserves.

In addition to the fun-filled activities, Mango Day at Oxbridge World School provides an educational opportunity for students to learn about the cultural significance and nutritional benefits of mangoes. Teachers may incorporate lessons and discussions about the history, cultivation, and varieties of mangoes, as well as their importance in local cuisines and traditions around the world.
